a little bit about me

hello and thanks for stopping by :)

family & friends mean the world to me and i'm blessed to have some amazing humans in my life. i love to spend time outdoors, especially where i live in beautiful Powell River, BC . i like to ride my bike (with a basket & bell), i walk or hike in the local trails, and i float around in the ocean and lakes. 

​i love this healthy-living, feel-good stuff. i've felt crappy before (in my body, in my self) and it sucks. i hate it, i wanna feel good.  i want to feel good in my body, i want to have energy to do the things i wanna do in my daily life, and i want to feel this way as often as i possibly can

i like moving my body and i'm often caught saying 'this is my favourite exercise' for almost every exercise!my body simply knows that it was designed to move, and it feels a whole lot better when it does. and so do i. i love it. and i love to share my passion for movement (strength, mobility, balance, coordination) with others.


a yoga practice is also a key piece of my self-care routine too. i gotta stretch & breathe as often as i can.  it helps release tension  that's built up from my daily physical movement (or lack there sitting at a computer). the practice clears my mind and helps me sleep. and yes,  my yoga practice changed my life. it's the truth. my body feels better, my mind is more at ease, and when life throws me a major curveball, i have the tools to handle it a little better. other perks: an increase in concentration and focus,  balance, flexibility and so much more.

i'm so passionate about what i do because it feels good to feel good.
